About Me

Who Am I?

My name is Isaiah Copon. I attended Humber College and received my BSc in Fitness and Health Promotion in 2015. Immediately after school, I dove right into the industry and started training clients one on one and started my own business before even thinking about applying to a gym. I’ve now been a personal trainer for a few years and have helped hundreds of people achieve their own health goals! I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and have been training in the GTA for 5+ years.

I played multiple sports growing up so I’ve always been an active individual. However, I didn’t start lifting seriously until I got to college in 2013 and it’s been an up and down journey ever since. I’ve had to work through multiple injuries (not gym related) and it’s taught me a lot along the way.

I’ve been into sports and just being active in general my whole life and that has ultimately led to me to become a personal trainer. Now, I love helping others achieve their fitness goals, stay healthy, and live a full life.

I’m CSEP and NASM-certified and continue to learn daily by staying on top of new health and fitness research in order to train my clients the right way. I’ve learned throughout the years that learning doesn’t stop when you have your certifications because there’s lots of ongoing research constantly in this field.

I started a podcast on my 30th birthday, September 25th 2020, in hopes to give out even more information on how you can stay in shape for the rest of your life. The podcast, Lift & Learn, is just getting started and you should check it out if you want to learn / relearn information about anything related to fitness. Episodes will be available every Friday!

If you want me to cover topics on the podcast, you can e-mail the podcast below, or check out its dedicated Instagram page @LiftAndLearnPodcast. As of right now, I’m still looking to take on new clients (in-person / online) so if you want to start your journey, e-mail me at ijcopon@gmail.com!
